This was such a wonderful way to spend a frosty February day! In a light-filled, beautiful room with a huge fireplace, and with Malaika's energy and skill guiding us through the afternoon. Malaika managed to create a space for deep rest in Yoga Nidra, while also nourishing the senses with the creation of aromatic scrubs and simmer pots that we got to concoct while chatting with new (or old) connections. The activities fostered a sense of community, of self-care and of connection to self and the broader world. As always with Malaika, there was depth, humor, humility and sparkle all thrown into the mix. Thanks for a truly lovely afternoon.

The cozy retreat was much needed especially at this time of year. The space was incredibly charming and embraced all the beautiful women there! I was so excited to meet up with the gals from former retreats and gals new to the program! All shared their spirit and grateful that Malaika organized such an event!

Malaika holds a bright light that will touch your heart and soul! Thank you Malaika

I am so grateful I decided to take the time and investment in this offering. Malaika created such a soothing and pampering environment to feel at ease and drop in. Her yoga nidra and journaling helps me reconnect with myself and let go of the mind chatter and get to a more meaningful place within. And her facilitation with small groups helped me get out of my comfort zone and really make an authentic connection with strangers and feel a deeper sense of community and connection with other humans and it felt good. The offering was definitely a day of reset for me and the self care crafts kept on giving at home! I made my simmer pot potpourri as soon as I got home and I used my homemade body scrub in the shower immediately! The directions and ingredients are easy to access and make again on our own! Thank you for the whole day. Your thoughtful planning and words always hit and resonate in deep places and become welcome insights that I needed to think, hear and feel. Always a gift to be a student in your offering! Thank you!

I am so glad I didn’t miss this retreat!

Malaika is magic. Since the moment I met her I knew she was special. As a friend, healer and teacher she makes time to make you feel seen and welcome in all of her spaces. She takes time to understand you and meet you where you’re at. She is not only a dear friend but she is a healer for me. Since I was diagnosed with cancer last June, Malaika has provided me with comfort, ease, patience and love. She has practiced massage and reiki on me that have been so healing. And she is always there to remind me that I am strong, capable and loved. Her Cozy Up retreat was the perfect combination of community, calm, creativity and cultivation. I loved every bit of it, from the relaxing nidra to the sisterhood connection, to the crafting and culinary treats. I can’t recommend working

 I just love you!
